Disasters of every kind deeply affect communities—leaving families without access to clean water, stable food sources, and emotional support. These disasters leave those who don’t know the hope of Jesus – even further in the dark, dependent on local governments and short-term national and international relief teams (both faith-forward and non-faith-based non-governmental organizations).
Yet in every crisis, one truth remains: the local church is uniquely positioned to bring compassion, stability, and the hope of Jesus to its community.
This ministry aims to equip, strengthen, and mobilize the local believers in times of disaster. It integrates practical relief, relational evangelism, and long-term follow-up care through a simple, sustainable framework that begins after the initial 1st responders have arrived and stabilized the initial disaster area – what we are calling the 2nd wave of recovery. The goal of our incoming support is to help the local believers, often the local church, shine even more brightly when its community needs it most, helping them to share the love of Jesus with their neighbors.
His
This ministry is not driven by human ambition; it belongs to the Father and is devoted to restoring broken lives through the love of His Son, Jesus.
